I have to tell you that as soon as the days start feeling warmer, I start itching to barbecue. I am a total barbecue freak with specific recipes that have been passed down in my family, and I even baste ribs in my own special sauce. Seriously, this is something that would make you would die and go to heaven if you ever tasted it! I spend the majority of my summers outside on my back porch experimenting with different meats and sauce blends so that I always come up with something new and unique for that season. Of course, my family really enjoys this because they always get to eat all of my experiments, which are delicious regardless of the recipe, but I am just happy to be able to hone my craft as soon as summer comes.
The other best part about barbecuing in the summer is the gathering of family and friends. Right now, I’ve been taking the time to make some fun playlists for my iPod that I can put out on my iPod dock for us all to listen to as we sit in the backyard and enjoy a summer evening. That is one of my favorite things about my iPod- that I can use it in so many different situations for assorted entertainment. There is nothing better than listening to some great tunes and eating even better barbecue!
