My mom just recently got her own iPhone, after always borrowing mine for GPS and Internet access. I was just telling her that she needed to get her own, and now she finally has, but it is costing me the same amount of time in tutoring her! It’s actually pretty hilarious, but she has a very difficult time answering it or even using her applications. I have to admit that I am smug now, but it took me a while to get the hang of it when I first got the iPhone as well.
She also has a really difficult time typing, and I was just telling her that she needs to practice so that she can get better at e-mailing. She also gets confused with downloading applications, so I have to help her with that as well. I guess you could consider this a bonding experience, but I think that she is learning! It’s pretty funny to see her with the iPhone, and don’t even get me started on her downloading music on iTunes. I think that is something that she is going to have to figure out for herself because no matter how many times that I help her, no luck.
