I read something recently that recommended listening to ambient music as you sleep to promote a better nights sleep overall. I kind of am a light sleeper anyway, so I figured that this could only help to try it out. I downloaded some very chill music, like what you hear when you get a massage, which immediately made me feel relaxed. You know, it was the tinkling bells sounds and water babbling in a brook- the usual. I surprisingly found a wealth of ambient music options to download that I could listen to all night long.
It initially took me a while to get used to the background noise, but after a few nights, I almost couldn’t sleep without it! I love waking up in the morning to soft wind chimes and ocean noises, and now I feel totally spoiled and pampered. This is great for everyone who has an iPod dock and wants to enhance their sleep quality at night. It is totally easy to set up, so I think it is definitely worth the try if you are a light sleeper at all. Give me a warm bath and my iPod night playlist, and I will be sleeping like a baby in no time! Ah, life is good again…
