I saw the headline of Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo breaking up on my iPhone this week, and I found it very interesting, especially since all of the Cowboys fans were totally against her since they claimed that she was the cause for him losing games. I can say this from personal experience because my boyfriend is an avid Cowboys fan, and those were always the rumors surrounding the games, especially when she was in attendance. Of course, I do feel bad for her because he broke up with her the day before her 29th birthday, which leaves those lingering questions about when it is appropriate to break up with someone, or if you should just be honest.
People always want to avoid breaking up around holidays or birthdays because it feels cruel, but isn’t it just as cruel to pretend to be in the relationship when you are totally over it? Regardless, celebrities do get what they deserve because they want to be in the limelight, but on the flipside, I have to say that I would be totally stressed to have a public breakup that the whole world wishes to comment on, including myself, since I am writing this blog.
