Yes, I did live in Chicago for a brief period of time, and I was a waitress there. Obviously, I did not have the awesome pleasure of waiting on Johnny Depp because you better believe that I already would’ve told you about it. A delightful little story made the news recently where Johnny Depp tipped a waiter in Chicago $4,000. I have to tell you that I have never even come close to receiving a tip that generous in my past years of waitressing, but I have to give Johnny Depp massive credit for being so generous, even amidst all of his stardom.

Apparently, he was in Chicago filming his new movie, Public Enemies, and the waiter that had the pleasure of waiting on him really made out well. Even though I am slightly jealous, any waiter deserves that kind of tip because of the customer service trouble that they go through in that job, and it’s got me in the mood to download some quality Johnny Depp movies to my iPod for old times sake. Edward Scissorhands? What’s Eating Gilbert Grape? Blow? Pirates of the Caribbean? All fantastic choices to keep me entertained out of respect for the great Johnny Depp.
